Prof. Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy has the pleasure of inviting to piano master classes with

Christian Ihle Hadland, Leif Ove Andsnes, Håvard Gimse and Per Tengstrand

Dates: 28 January-4 February, 2020

Location: Reksten Collections, Bergen, Norway

About

The classes are open for students and young established pianists at the highest level.

The participants will receive at least 4 classes each of approx. 45-60 minutes duration. The classes starts in the morning of 28 January and ends in the afternoon the 4 February.

Limitation of participants is 10.

Repertory

The students are expected to bring their own music for the course.

Classes

The teaching is timetabled in the main hall, Pentagon at the Reksten Collections. All master classes will be open to public audience.

Concerts

There will be arranged 1-2 public concert with the participants.

Accommodation

Accommodation is offered in shared rooms (2 persons per room), at the Reksten Collections and is included in the participation fee.

Meals

Lunch and dinner will be served. Breakfast are based on self catering in our kitchen. Grocery will be provided by the academy.

Practising

At the Reksten Collections you are free to practice in various rooms and on 11 good quality pianos and grand pianos.

Fees and application

Participation fee:

NOK 4000,-.

To be submitted upon receipt of invoice and one week after acceptance of participation.

The application has to be enclosed the following information:

1) Application form (electronical application form to be found underneath)

2) CV

3) Repertory/program

4) Links to a video of 10-15 minutes duration, containing 2 pieces. (To be posted on You Tube, SoundCloud etc. or sent by a file sending service or as a DVD by ordinary mail).

Application deadline: 15 December, 2019

Applicants that has been accepted for the master class will be informed within 22 December.
