After four years as Artistic Director, Prof. Jiri Hlinka stepped down as the artistic leader of the academy, but passed on the tradition he nurtured through master classes to his former students, Leif Ove Andsnes, Håvard Gimse, Christian Ihle Hadland, and Geir Botnen. Today, Andsnes, Gimse, and Ihle Hadland serve as the academy’s Artistic Directors, continuing Hlinka’s legacy.
