Prof. Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy has the pleasure of inviting to piano master classes with

Leif Ove Andsnes, Håvard Gimse and Christian Ihle Hadland 

Dates: 15-20 November, 2020

Location: Reksten Collections, Bergen, Norway

About

The classes are open for students and young established pianists at the highest level.

The participants will receive at least 4 classes each of approx. 45 minutes duration. The classes starts in the morning of 15 November and ends in the afternoon of the 20 November.

Due to the ongoing corona-19 pandemic and to prevent infection, the limitation of participants has been reduced to 6, and unfortunately we will only be able to admit international participants situated in Norway, to take part.

Repertory

The students are expected to bring their own repertory for the course.

Classes

The teaching is timetabled in the main hall, Pentagon at the Reksten Collections. All master classes will be open to public audience

Concerts

There will be arranged 1 public concert with the participants during the master class period.

Accommodation

Accommodation in single rooms with private bathroom ensuite, is offered at the Reksten Collections and is included in the participation fee.

Meals

Lunch and dinner will be served by the academy, and are included in the participation fee. Breakfast are based on self catering in our kitchen. Grocery for the purpose will be provided by the academy.

Practising

At the Reksten Collections you are free to practice on 11 good quality pianos and grand pianos in various rooms.

Fees and application

Participation fee:

NB! Reduced price: NOK 3000,-.

To be submitted upon receipt of invoice and one week after acceptance of participation.

The application has to be enclosed the following information:

1) Application form (electronical application form to be found underneath)

2) CV

3) Repertory/program

4) Links to a video of 10-15 minutes duration, containing 2 pieces. (To be posted on You Tube, SoundCloud etc. or sent by a file sending service or as a DVD by ordinary mail).

Application deadline: NB! New date: 12 October, 2020 

Within the 16  October, the applicants will be informed if they have been accepted for the master class.
