Prof. Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy has the pleasure of inviting to piano master classes with:

Christian Ihle Hadland, Håvard Gimse, and Polina Leschenko

 

Dates: 12–16 October, 2026

Location: Rasmussen Samlingene, Bergen, Norway

 

About

The classes are open for students and young established pianists at the highest level.

The participants will receive 2 classes each of 45 minutes duration with each professor. The classes starts at 10:00 on 12 October and ends with a concert in the evening of 16 October.

Limitation of participants is 7.

 

Repertoire

The students are expected to bring their own music for the course.

 

Classes

Teaching will primarily take place in the main hall, Pentagon, at the Rasmussen Samlingene, with some classes taking place in parallel in another room. All masterclasses held in the Pentagon will be open to the public.

 

Concert

There will be arranged one public concert on the last day of the masterclasses, 16 September, in the Pentagon Hall at Rasmussen Samlingene.

 

Accommodation

Accommodation and meals are offered at the Rasmussen Samlingene, and are included in the participation fee.

 

Practising facilities

Participants have free access to ten high-quality grand pianos and upright pianos, located in various rooms at the Rasmussen Samlingene, throughout the course.

 

Fees and application

Participation fee:

NOK 5000,-.

To be submitted upon receipt of invoice and one week after acceptance of participation.

The application has to be enclosed the following information:

1) Application form (electronical application form to be found underneath)

2) CV

3) Repertory/program

4) Links to a video of 10-15 minutes duration, containing 2 pieces. (To be posted on You Tube, SoundCloud etc.)
