Prof. Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy, in collaboration with the Bergen International Festival, has the pleasure of inviting to piano master classes with:
Marianna Shirinyan, Håvard Gimse, Leif Ove Andsnes and Christian Ihle Hadland
Dates: 1 – 4 June, 2025
Location: Rasmussen Samlingene, Bergen, Norway
About
The classes are open for students and young established pianists at the highest level.
The participants will receive 1 classes each of 45 minutes duration with each professor. The classes starts in the afternoon on the 1st of June and ends with a concert in the afternoon of the 4th of June.
Limitation of participants is 7.
Repertory
The students are expected to bring their own music for the course.
Classes
The teaching is timetabled in the main hall, Pentagon at the Rasmussen Samlingene. All master classes will be open to public audience.
Concerts
There will be arranged one public concert on the last day of the masterclasses, 4th of June, in the Pentagon Hall at Rasmussen Samlingene.
Accommodation
Accommodation and meals are offered at the Rasmussen Samlingene, and are included in the participation fee.
Practising
At the Rasmussen Samlingene you are free to practice on 11 good quality pianos and grand pianos placed in various rooms.
Fees and application
Participation fee:
NOK 4000,-.
To be submitted upon receipt of invoice and one week after acceptance of participation.
The application has to be enclosed the following information:
1) Application form (electronical application form to be found underneath)
2) CV
3) Repertory/program
4) Links to a video of 10-15 minutes duration, containing 2 pieces. (To be posted on You Tube, SoundCloud etc.)
