has the pleasure of inviting to piano master classes with

Milan Langer, Jiri Hlinka and Christian Ihle Hadland

Dates: 23 – 30 October, 2016

Location: Reksten Collections, Bergen, Norway

About

The classes are open for students and young established pianists in the beginning of their careers.

The participants will receive at least 4 classes each of approx. 60 minutes duration. The classes starts in the morning of 23 October and ends with a closing concert in the evening of the 30 October.

Limitation of participants is 10.

Repertory

The students are expected to bring their own music for the course.

Classes

The teaching is timetabled in the main hall, Pentagon at the Reksten Collections and will be open to public audience.

Concerts

There will be arranged three public concerts with the participants,  two at Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen and one at the Reksten Collections.

 Accommodation

Accommodation is offered at the Reksten Collections and is included in the participation fee.

Meals

Breakfast and lunch are based on self catering in our kitchen, which is fully equipped. Dinners are included in the participation fee and will be provided by the academy. 

Practising

At the Reksten Collections you are free to practice in various rooms and on 11 good quality pianos and grand pianos.

Fees and application

Participation fee:

NOK 4000,- (inclusive accommodation and dinners)

To be submitted upon receipt of invoice and one week after acceptance of participation.

The application has to be enclosed the following information:

1) Application form (to be downloaded underneath)

2) CV

3) Repertory/program

4) Links to a video of 10-15 minutes duration, containing 2 pieces. (To be posted on You Tube, Sondcloud etc. or sent by a file sending service or as a DVD by ordinary mail).

Application deadline:   10 September, 2016

By the latest of 27 September, 2016, applicants will be informed if they have been accepted for the master class.
